AGV Protocol DAO Governance
Decentralized decisions, real-world impact.
What is the AGV DAO?
AGV DAO is the decentralized governance framework behind the AGV Protocol — a tokenized infrastructure connecting real-world energy, agriculture, and compute assets with the on-chain economy.
Unlike traditional organizations where decisions are made by a centralized team or a few investors, AGV DAO empowers every community member to participate in shaping the future of the protocol.
Why AGV DAO Matters
Community-led Vision
Decisions on incentive design, protocol upgrades, and ecosystem expansion are made by token holders and early contributors.
Real Impact
AGV DAO manages tangible real-world assets. Your vote doesn't just change a number on-chain — it can influence how energy is distributed, how farms are funded, or how carbon savings are allocated.
Transparency & Accountability
All decisions, treasury transactions, and proposals are recorded on-chain, ensuring full transparency and community oversight.
Progressive Decentralization
AGV is committed to gradually transferring power from the core team to its community, ensuring long-term sustainability and inclusiveness.
Who Can Participate?
1
Token Holders of $GVT and $rGGP
2
Builder LPs and community contributors
3
Partner DAOs, VCs, or individuals with governance rights
4
Anyone willing to contribute and grow the ecosystem
AGV DAO is not just a voting mechanism — it is the beating heart of a decentralized ecosystem built for real-world value and collective impact.
Governance Structure
AGV DAO is designed with a multi-layered governance model to ensure decentralization, transparency, and operational efficiency. It integrates on-chain voting, contributor roles, and progressive treasury management to govern real-world assets and DeFi infrastructure.
1. Token-based Governance
Holders of $GVT (governance token) and $rGGP (reputation token) have voting rights across DAO decisions, including:
Protocol upgrades
Budget allocations
Ecosystem grants
Asset onboarding/offboarding
Community proposals
Voting weight is proportional to the holder's GVT and rGGP balance and may include time-lock boosting or reputation scoring.
DAO Sub-Structures
AGV DAO will form functional sub-DAOs and working groups to handle specialized domains:
Infrastructure DAO
Oversees asset onboarding, legal compliance, and SPV operations
Strategy DAO
Handles growth, marketing, community, and GTM campaigns
Innovation DAO
Manages research, tokenomics upgrades, and pilot programs
Treasury DAO
Controls the DAO treasury, funding decisions, and reporting
Each sub-DAO will have a multisig committee with rotating community members and core contributors.
Builder Council
A rotating Builder Council will be formed from top Builder LPs, KOLs, and long-term contributors. Their role is to:
  • Propose key DAO initiatives
  • Vet early proposals before full DAO vote
  • Coordinate cross-subDAO execution

Voting Lifecycle Overview
1
Proposal Drafting
  • Any rGGP holder can submit a proposal draft
  • Community feedback is collected via Notion + Telegram + Forum
2
Builder Council Review
  • A selected group of trusted contributors (Builder Council) evaluates feasibility, impact, and alignment
  • May request edits or additional data before public voting
3
Snapshot Voting
  • Final proposals are uploaded to Snapshot
  • GVT holders vote on-chain
  • Voting duration: 3-7 days (depending on proposal type)
4
Implementation
  • If approved by quorum and majority:
  • Technical execution starts
  • Treasury allocation (if any) is unlocked via multisig or smart contract
  • Progress tracked via DAO dashboard and Notion tracker
Voting Power
  • 1 GVT = 1 vote
  • Voting is gasless, thanks to Snapshot integration
  • Delegation available: GVT holders can assign their voting power to trusted DAO Delegates
rGGP holders cannot vote directly but gain proposal rights, early governance influence, and DAO role progression.
Quorum & Approval Thresholds
Thresholds are designed to balance agility and security while keeping governance efficient.
DAO Treasury & Budgeting
The AGV DAO manages a transparent, multi-signature treasury to fund operations, incentivize contributors, and scale ecosystem growth.
Treasury Overview
Managed by:
Multi-signature wallet (initially 4/7 signers from core team + community reps)
Audited by:
External and community-reviewed tracking dashboards
Fund Sources:
  • GVT token allocation (5% reserved for DAO Treasury)
  • NFT sale proceeds (10% of all minting revenue)
  • rGGP buyback reserve
  • Ecosystem partner contributions & grants
  • Revenue from protocol operations (e.g., energy credits, compute yield)
Budget Allocation Categories
Budget percentages are adjustable via DAO vote every 6 months.
Proposal-Based Spending
  • Any spending over $5,000 equivalent must go through DAO proposal and vote
  • Emergency use under $5,000 requires 4/7 multisig approval
  • Treasury is tracked via real-time dashboard (link to be provided)
Financial Philosophy

We operate under the principle of "capital-efficient decentralization"
Builder-first. Community-aligned. Transparent at every level.
Treasury reserves are designed to last at least 24 months runway under conservative assumptions.
SubDAO & Working Groups
To ensure scalable, modular, and community-driven operations, the AGV DAO will form specialized SubDAOs and Working Groups tasked with executing focused mandates under DAO-approved frameworks.
What Are SubDAOs?
SubDAOs are semi-autonomous units within the AGV ecosystem. Each SubDAO:
  • Focuses on a specific domain (e.g. Energy, Compute, Farming, DePIN infra)
  • Has a dedicated budget and operating framework
  • Reports performance back to the Main DAO
  • Can evolve into full DAOs if independently sustainable
Goal: Decentralize operational execution while retaining strategic alignment
What Are Working Groups?
Working Groups are agile, short-term task teams formed to:
  • Deliver specific initiatives (e.g., marketing campaigns, AMAs, integrations)
  • Test new ideas or tech prototypes
  • Review governance upgrades
  • Support DAO tooling and automation
Goal: Enable fast, low-friction contribution with minimal overhead
Examples of Planned SubDAOs
Each SubDAO may run its own budget, vote cycles, and contributor program — under the AGV DAO umbrella.
Formation Process
Community proposes formation via AGV Forum
DAO votes on SubDAO scope, budget, initial contributors
Treasury allocates funds with milestone-based unlock
Quarterly performance reviews + renewal vote
Collaboration Between SubDAOs
  • SubDAOs can co-fund shared tools
  • Contributors can rotate across groups
  • Governance upgrades may merge or split SubDAOs
Governance Participation
AGV DAO is built to enable inclusive, transparent, and efficient participation from contributors, holders, and aligned ecosystem partners.
Whether you are a token holder, Builder LP, NFT supporter, or community advocate — you have a voice in shaping the future of AGV Protocol.

Security & Smart Contract Safeguards
At AGV DAO, the security of our treasury, smart contracts, and governance infrastructure is paramount. We implement a multi-layered security architecture to safeguard user funds and maintain operational integrity.
Multisig Wallet Governance
All DAO-controlled funds are stored in a multi-signature (multisig) wallet, requiring approvals from a predefined number of signers before any transaction can be executed. This structure:
  • Prevents unilateral fund movements
  • Ensures shared accountability
  • Enables emergency action if needed
We currently use Gnosis Safe to manage our treasury securely.
Smart Contract Audits
Our smart contracts are audited by independent third-party firms prior to deployment. We prioritize:
  • Code transparency and readability
  • Rigorous testing and attack simulations
  • Timely patching of any vulnerabilities found
All audit reports will be publicly available via our [GitHub Repository / Notion Link].
Immutable Core Contracts
The core protocol contracts governing minting, staking, and DAO voting are immutable — meaning they cannot be changed once deployed. This ensures:
  • Long-term trust from token holders
  • Immunity from unauthorized modifications
  • Predictable rules for governance participation
Bug Bounty Program (Coming Soon)
We will launch a public bug bounty program to incentivize ethical hackers to identify vulnerabilities, with rewards paid in GVT or stablecoins.
Security is not a feature — it is a foundation. AGV DAO is committed to transparent, auditable, and community-protected infrastructure.
Transparency & Reporting
Transparency is at the heart of AGV DAO's operations. We believe open access to financial data, governance decisions, and project progress is essential to building a trusted decentralized organization.
On-Chain Transparency
  • All DAO treasury transactions are executed on-chain and can be verified via block explorers.
  • We use Tally, Gnosis Safe, and relevant dashboards to publish real-time governance activities and financial flows.
  • Key smart contract addresses and transactions are publicly listed on the DAO Resources page.
Quarterly Reports
We commit to publishing quarterly treasury reports summarizing:
  • Fund inflows and expenditures
  • Key grants, investments, or token distributions
  • DAO voting outcomes and governance updates
  • Progress of SubDAOs and Working Groups
These reports will be accessible on our official [Notion] and [GitHub] repositories.
